- Pointe Coupee Animal Shelter - $500 for Mobile Veterinary Unit for spaying and neutering dogs and cats

2004 Fall Grant Cycle - $4,000
- Pointe Coupee Council on Aging - $1000 to supplement the personal care program for elderly homebound residents
- Community Care Outreach Center - $1000 to fund a Life Skills Program Component of their after-school tutorial program
- HOPE - $1000 for reimbursements for the Medical Transportation Program
- LSU AgCenter's Cooperative Extension Service - $1000 for building materials and equipment for the Growing Green Thumbs Program in Pointe Coupee Parish
